On January 22, 2007 my mom, Sally Campbell, ended her battle with cancer and I was left with a huge void in my life. From 2005 until her passing I was fully involved in all her daily needs as her body deteriorated; bathing, dressing, feeding and nurturing. I worked hard to design and prepare meals that could ease her life. Ones that were healthy, easy and flavourful. Unknown to me at the time one of these would later become the basis for CHOO-IT.

In 2008, after a year of product development, I launched CHOO-IT and committed to giving $1.00 of every container sold to breast cancer research. Participating in every cancer event I could; I ran, walked, donated product, told my story and listened to others tell theirs. The company grew and so did my involvement in it. By 2012 CHOO-IT had three products and was being sold across three provinces by retailers both big and small. I invested everything back into the company, and the sponsorship of individuals and events supporting a healthy lifestyle all while raising a son and supporting myself.

As a tribute to my mom, I needed to give to others as much as my mom gave to me. I have achieved all goals that I set out when I started CHOO-IT and am looking forward to a new chapter in my life.

Introducing Rock Paper Coffee Roasting Company

We are taking the ideals and knowledge gained that have made CHOO-IT into what it is, and are putting that energy towards A new venture.

In the Canadian prairies, we know the value of hard work and perseverance. Through this, communities are formed, and when we gather there's always a pot of coffee on. Coffee roots don't grow here, but our roots do, and that cup of coffee has become so common we don't even think about it.
What if that first sip was more than just a cup of coffee? Once that stopped us in our tracks, like our sunsets. One with the freshness of our clean air, and one with as much character as our people.

Introducing RockPaperCoffee, roasted by locals at Sunnydale Farm, Perdue, YXE, Saskatchewan.
